How do I view a map layer?
Located at the right side of the website you will find a layer list. These are layers that can be displayed by checking off the square box and hitting the "Refresh Map" button located under the layer list.

How do I get information about a map layer?
Located at the right side of the website, you will find a layer list. These are layers that can be displayed and information can be displayed about the layer. Making sure the check box appears in the square box next to the layer name, you will need to click the white circle so a black dot appears in the white circle. By clicking on the information button located within the interaction buttons on the left side of the website, you can know click on the item of interest and data will appear relating to the active layer you have chosen.

The list of layers is not complete?
The layers listed on the right side of the website have scale restrictions. If you are zoomed in on a particular area in Middletown Township, certain layers may not be able to be displayed at that scale. As you " zoom out" or "zoom in" the layer list will update showing layer choices at that particular view scale.

How do I search for a block and lot at the overall map view?
Once you are on the main page of the website which shows the mapping of Middletown Township, you can do additional block and lot searches. Click on the button depicting a red question mark (located under the Interaction buttons at the left side of the website page). This will invoke the search fields that will appear under the map.

My search has generated a list of properties. How do I view them?
You can view each property be clicking on the Parcel ID number (ex. 32_1094_5). The map view will zoom into the property you have requested.

What map feature represents the layer I am interested in seeing?
Click on the "Legend" tab located at the upper right side of the website. This tab will show an example of how each layer is displayed on the map. The layer must be checked off as visible on the layer list to display on the legend list.

How do I enter the "Property Location" during a search?
If you are searching for a property (example 99 McLean Street), you can type in 99, 99 McL, 99 mclean. The more of the address you type the smaller the list will be of properties that share the search criteria. If you typed in 99, you will get all of the properties that have 99 in their address.

You must click the "Refresh Map" button below the layer list to refresh the map after choosing additional layer to be visible or not visible.

How do I know when my recycling is being picked up?
Make the "Voting district and Recycling layer active and visible. Zoom to the property location or Search for the property. By using the information button click on the property. You will be given a display of pick-up days and dates below the map area.
